Almost done adding values to the diagram, think i might get the digi-key part numbers on also before i have to go to work

After that i will do a print and scan the diagram and upload it

and then i will do cosmetics on the PCB itself and upload pics of that

upload of diagram in about 12 hours.. have to go to work

But when i start on the cosmetic part of the PCB should i place the parts on both sides? or only on a single side? the first option will give the most compact PCB

Boelle. I would place them on top only for ease of visual inspection later and to avoid damaging any with wires that may pass underneath. But it's your board please feel free to do what you think is best.

I'm waiting for my pcb man to get back after bank holiday and hopefully he can work on the multi slave digital board. I'm also on hols from Thursday AM so won't be in regular contact for 2 weeks. But I am hoping to get the boards ordered before I leave so that I have something new to play with on my return!!

$2384.24

What currency is this?

Does it include supply and building of 25 digital slaves?

What about the Picaxe chip itself?

I assume this is for an smd board?

It sounds expensive :?

Can you rotate the board jpg 90deg left and the re-upload it please.

us dollar

Does it include supply and building of 25 digital slaves?

Includes 25 boards that will fit on top of a 200ah cell if i had the size correct and includes parts but so far not a finish build board, will ask sunstone about that when i have done the cosmetic stuff for the pcb

What about the Picaxe chip itself?

the picaxe have to be soldered by hand as digikey do not stock it, and sunstone use digikey only as far i know

I assume this is for an smd board?

Yes

It sounds expensive :?

i think too, why the price for the board and parts are so high i dont know, compared to that i have done all the work myself

Can you rotate the board jpg 90deg left and the re-upload it please.

sure, just a sec Uploaded

woohoo... i just made a very dirty calc at screamingcircuits.com 797$ for 25 boards... but the best option is to have them do the calc from the 123 file

bulk/group order is the way to get the cost low enough
