hi ,i charged my van up fully other day and needle on power meter went just over the 100 mark ,i didnt drive it for 24 hrs tho but when i did the power meter was 95, is this common as ive not really been looking out for it before or do u suspect i have a drain somwhere and the only thing ive updated van wise is the stereo unit so it maybe getting ripped out haha,

do berlingos batts lose charge if left sat
Re: do berlingos batts lose charge if left sat
Could be a failing 12 v battery and the main pack being used up to top it up Worth checking the 12v battery.

mmm does sound ike a 12v check is needed.
Yes they do lose charge over time, but not that much, I have only just started to take mine back out after avoiding all the salt on the road, and it hadnt been charged for around 6 weeks I recon and it was down to around 60% I think.
I should have pulled the traction fuses and disconnected the 12v, thinking about it now

Re: do berlingos batts lose charge if left sat
if the stereo is one that is always on then it will take power, but not as much as you appear to be suggesting . I still think the 12v may be an issue.
Re: do berlingos batts lose charge if left sat
hi guys well i just checked the 12v batt and heres the results
with ignition off 12.54v
with ignition on 13.64v

Re: do berlingos batts lose charge if left sat
You really need to do a load test, off load voltage testing is fairly meaningless.
Best thing is to turn the head lights on without the ignition turned on and leave them on for say 10mins, the voltage shouldnt drop below 12v really.
The ignition on reading is a little on the low side I have to say though
