Hi there - does anyone know what the 36v lead-acid batteries in an electric bike should charge up to?
I'm pretty sure mine have lost some capacity; they go up to 40.3 or so and then drop down to 39.8 or so shortly after charging.
I'm sure they used to go up to 42.0! and they've lost a bit of their pep. Sadly I lost the mileage spreadsheet on my computer, so thought I'd ask around.
Any ideas? Nikki?
Cheers
Andy
PS I will get around to joining the BVS soooooooooon, honest!
Should I change the battery on my bike?

Sadly it sounds like your going to have to , I suspect you'll find 3 sealed Yuasa 12vots of some sorts, and it will be one of those which will have gone poof, or do you have nicads ??
If its 12volts yuasa types then I might be able to help
Do you know the Ah capacity of the pack ?
