Re: Renault / Nissan LEAF battery modules in UK/EU?
They are a bit naughty though, a batch I bought from them just turned up, 3 modules all in the same box, terminals not insulated, no class 8 hazardous label on the box and just marked as "Nissan Module" No mention of Lithium batteries!! So they are breaking all the shipping rules and the b...

Re: Renault / Nissan LEAF battery modules in UK/EU?
Hi, Copart auctions often have Leafs come up in the UK, they are tending to go for between £5K & £6.5K at present though, so unless you want the other parts, they're a bit too expensive for just the battery in my opinion. If you are wanting a smaller number of leaf modules, these guys will sell ...

Re: McCharge
Well our local McDonald's fine you £120 if you stay for more than an hour in the car park, unless you are in the place for longer than this and tell them so, I doubt they'll be encouraging you to plug in for any length of time...

Re: New AGM batteries now available
Hi Chrisb, Yes, I'm going to buy a set of 12 at 135Ah, I've made the decision instead of going with 90/100Ah Lifepo4 as I intended to, as the cost for these is just so much less, (if the claims stack up!). I know the earlier flooded offering isn't ideal for EV use, (although they were always aimed a...

Re: New AGM batteries now available
Hi Andrew,
I don't think anyone hangs out here anymore!!
Just for the record, I am going to buy a set of 12 of these at 135Ah, got to be worth a punt at the price with that guarantee for EV use..

Thundersky Lifepo4
Hi All, I've been watching the discussion on Thundersky cells on US and Aus. sites for a while and it would seem that the new "yellow" cells, Lifepo4, don't seem to have the same problems some of the older series cells had and may just last the distance. I've read on here though that thier...
