Using Regen on an electric motorcycle ? ("shock, horror"!)
T2.V.small.jpg I seek comments on my mk2 TWEV, and particularly on possible regen-braking There may be many views on this, and I hope to gain ideas from responses on here I firmly believe that even negative criticism may help I have now finally “properly” re-started building a (“Feet-forward”) mk2 ...

"Too many Turnigys?"
I am recovering from a quadruple-bypass heart-op. I had planned to sell my home-built electric motorcycle if I could afford a better machine ready-made Zero Motorcyces quit the UK abruptly, I cannot afford a Brammo or one of the Italian rocketships, "Agility Saetta" are still in the gestat...

Re: My new project

Re: My new project
Quality work. Looking forward to the next phase.
In these road conditions, (+0.5 to +6 degrees C, inc. a 1/2 mile 10-15% uphill), I roughly estimate my 64 Turnigys lose maybe 10% of their range over the spring and autumn distances
All the best

Re: My new project
Good welding, good tube-bending, sufficient of the original frame to retain original vehicle identity. Very likely mild improvement over original frame torsional rigidity without becoming unduly stiff, a well-balanced evolution. Foale's "bible" is very helpful on the balancing of conflicti...
