I must admit, that does fit quite nicely and allows for space on the rear cargo rack that wasn't there before :) I do really like the LiFePO4 battery types (especially on my currie motor retrofitted bike I'll explain abit more about in a new thread). Are they available for purchase? Where? At which cost? Would they perform better than lead-crystal batteries or TPPL (Tin Plates Pure Lead) batteries? They don't seem to say as such - though the Chinese seem to in a google search make a supposed "ultrabattery" and sell them through things...

If they didn't make the charging designs deliberately over-complicated and dependent on the grid, then people wouldn't be needing to create DIY charging stations. Wonder whether you can sue them under EU Trade Competition rules?
