Southern : Tue 24th March 2009 : Conference

Postby arsharpe » Tue Feb 17, 2009 4:57 pm

"Hybrid and Electric Vehicles: Advanced Powertrains Conference"

The BVS has negotiated a significant 78% discount for members attending this event and will also contribute £15 to the first 5 members to confirm interest making a total cost to members of only £50 (normally £295). This a great chance to hear about the latest technology and meet with people that make the difference in design and development, etc. It looks like we will be well fed as well !

(See the BVS website calendar for more information...)

Thanks for posting about this Rob.

I am really looking forward to going to it, and I hope it will give several of our members the chance to attend something we wouldn't normally be able to attend. I had looked longingly at it and decided I couldn't afford the £500 or whatever it was. Thrilled to be able to go for (comparatively) so little!

Dam I'd have had a poke at that, had dismissed it at first due to the daft price, but at £50 it makes it look like quite a deal 8)

Shame I'm already booked up

Ah well maybe next year

Just to let you know that we have the minimum 5 people and so the £15 subsidies have all gone. However, £65 for a £295 event is still very good value so there is still time to sign-up.

It looks like there is a going to be an excellent BVS presence and hopefully excellent discussions, etc.
