My long range Berlingo project is not progressing as it should. In an effort to get me going, I am inviting one and all to my house this weekend to get something done.
Anybody who would like to come and play will be very welcome. Phone 0161 904 0842 for directions, or email or PM me.

Re: Cheshire: Help Tim make progress 24/25 April : Informal
I will be over Saturday morning.
I can bring some mechanicing tools (if I can tidy a box of them from the workshop).
An arc welder and some rods.
2 1/2 ton trolley jack.
Gas soldering iron.
10sqmm-300sqmm hydraulic terminal crimper.
Is there anything in particular you need?
What's the plan? Have you particular tasks outstanding that you are stuck on?
It will get me away from this little project for a while:

Thanks, Night Train. I'm not sure what we will get done tomorrow. I have basic tools here, but no crimper or welder. Your help is much appreciated. There are a couple of other helpers coming too

Many, many thanks to Night Train, Jon and Howard for their help today. We designed a new front battery box and removed the motor in order to change the oil seal while access was easier.
Now, armed with my shopping list, I can go no further at home tomorrow. I have called off the helpers until I have more bits to play with.
Big thanks again to those who offered help.

You're welcome, Tim, just let us know when you are ready for the next stage.

Ready now, I think. NightTrain, Jon, Howard - are you free any days this weekend (possibly even Friday afterrnoon)?
Anybody else want to play?

Re: Cheshire: Help Tim make progress 24 April : Informal
I'm not sure about Friday yet, I am in college doing student feedback as they collect their end of term results. If I am finished early I may be able to get over.
I am possibly finishing Thursday's work, for a neighbour, on Saturday but I am free on Sunday.
Not yet sure how fit for work I will be at the moment, I fell through a floor today and have a nasty big bruise and graze on the back of my thigh and also a painful bump on my head as I hit the wall on the way down.

Ouch! Get well soon. See you Sunday, if you feel up to it.

Now I have a regular band of helpers (thank you all ) I will be co-ordinating our meets by email rather than bore everyone on the forum. If anyone wants to come and play, drop me a line.
