Dear 'Events'
We met the exhibitors from the battery vehicle society at the Olympia Exhibition a few months back, I signed up as a member, and at the time there was interest in your members at the show exhibiting.
From the outset we thought the Kingston event would be an excellent opportunity to co-operate with your association and hope there is still that opportunity. If I should be contacting others please let me know who to contact.
We are now closing bookings. If you are interested in exhibiting and require any further information we will welcome the opportunity to try and accommodate your requirements.
Kingston are not making any charge for the exhibition space and, as Transition Town Kingston, we are not making any charge for organising the Exhibition. The only funds we must recover relate to essential day to day costs for running the event. These include security, third party insurance, signs and banners, cleaning, the event guide, hospitality for important fleet and other clients and costs related to running an efficient information kiosk.
We have some flexibility with exhibitors interested in having more than one vehicle on the exhibition and will be pleased to quote an your enquiry. However, to recover essential costs with a little elbow room for promotion, we have settled exhibition costs as:
£200 per vehicle up to Ford Focus size and £300 for a larger vehicle; and
£150 for a single motorcycle or £200 for two motorcycles.
We look forward to hearing from you and, if you are interested in exhibiting, will make every effort to accomodate your requirements. But please let us know soonest as we are closing bookings over the next week or two.
Regards
John Katz

I largely agree, on reflection
Do enough committee members agree?

Kingston Electric car exhibition 28-31 07 2011, possibly NO
Just received this message from the Kingston show organisers
johnnkatz@googlemail.com
Thanks for your message. We may be able to arrange a free exhibition depending what is being exhibited.
Will be useful if you can give me a phone number to contact to discuss.
I take this to mean that:
if owners of interesting EVs email "johnnkatz", there may be an opportunity to exhibit with no fee
(That is solely my guess)
If there are any "BVS / interesting EV owners" who agree..........
(and who are willing to exhibit at Kingston)
would they care to send him an email?
More soonest

Ah they came to their sences then certainly for companies trying to sell their wares then a fee needs to be charged but not for the likes of us
Hopefully there might be a couple of folk who will take it up, if any one does please remember we have show/stand stuff available for you to "create" a BVS stand

Re: Kingston Electric car exhibition 28-31 07 2011
Is anyone going to this ?
I was hoping to go but my trusty batts are failing on me, only have 80% of capacity now and would not be able to make it.
