Top Gear gave us a bit of entertainment I see last Sunday evening, by driving a Leaf and a ion into the ground and then realising they had to wait 11hrs to charge them up
And this afternoon Radio 2 did a very short bit on EV's and charge points, you should be able to find it on "listen again"

TBH Top gear is intended to be a joke.
However more "honest" publications have reported upon their antics.

Why is Top Gear apparently exempt from the BBC's editorial guidelines and the duty not to fake the facts?

The problem with this sort of "larking about" is that a) fans of the programme think it's acceptable to emulate it, and b) that the "factual" element must be true 'cos it's on the telly.

Funny, I thought it was fun in the sun and the daily gorilla (mirror) readers.
There's 4 camp sites with hook up points around 15 miles from Lincoln.
Looking on Evnetwork. I see they done their research. Be in England in a zone which will leave the vehicle stranded. They never thought of stopping by at a pub and asked for a socket while they stuff their faces on their business accounts.
