Thanks Kevin. I hadn't seen this anywhere else. We shall see how Skype copes with 200 people in a meeting (or am I being ambitious?)

I'm sure the organisers would love that problem
I have no doubt that EV drivers need a more cohesive approach if they are going to influence policy in this area. My recent meetings with SMMT and OLEV confirm that drivers are the last people being considered

We are holding a public meeting this Monday 2nd July, online, at 7pm. Please join us. This first meeting is to gauge what support there is to form this group and to decide on a way forward.
To join the meeting you will need to have a Skype account. Sign up at skype.com... it is free.
Then contact me on Skype. My Skype id is paul.churchley - I will add you to the meeting group.
I am hoping we will have enough support to start this group and to finally give electric car drivers a voice in the UK.
More information can be found at
www.plugin-uk.org.
I look forward to seeing you on Monday evening.
"paul.churchley is not listed in the skype directory"
Struggling to join the throng.

Well, that was fun. A bit disorganised, but not bad for a first public meeting.
I would encourage anyone interested in being part of a group who intends to shape government action on charging points to sign up to the forum at
www.plugin-uk.org/forum and follow the twitter hashtag #PIUK
I should make it clear that PIUK currently has no affiliation to the Battery Vehicle Society
