From Marks "c5alive" website,
Well, today I jumped into my tatty little Honda Civic and decided to drive the route for the Marlow / Wycombe run.
Turns out to be as follows....
Total Distance 9.5 Miles
3 Stopping points - 2 coffee stops and a mince pie and sausage roll stop !!
1 Hill, not too bad, but thought i would warn everyone. The hill is towards the end of the run but is nothing like we went up in Weston Super Mare - more of an incline similar to the last one we went up in Ascot, but also nowhere near as long !!
2 drives over the Marlow Bridge that crosses the Thames.
Plenty of coffee stops if required. Maria will be meeting us 5 miles into the journey with fresh batteries, if needed, although I doubt we will.
Its a nice mixture of busy Marlow High St where we should get lots of attention, nice scenic roads through the countryside at Bisham, and some quiet back street roads where we can "loosen up" a bit !!!
Its going to be fun !!!
See you all on Sunday

Another clear ,bright day...although it was colder than a penguins dangly bits on an ice floe
The C5's seemed to dislike the cold weather as well, we had more breakdowns than on the London-Brighton run !
The batteries also struggled in the cold, range and performance seeemd to be down
But it was still good fun, and great to see 9 C5's out and about..caused a few strange looks in Marlow
Some piccies ;
