Who is looking to buy a new electric car this year?

Do you own or use a EV. Then this is a good place to discuss things.

Amperas are about 38~44 mpg on fuel alone but give up to 38 miles on battery which meets most peoples driving needs per day.

Yes, I've bought a Leaf. Great car!

In years gone by the mark of a top quality car was near silent running. Today I was driving my BMW diesel and just needed a short trip to the shops so took the leaf. The sudden air of quality from the near silent running was quite striking. On days like today the air-con dominates any other noise. Just goes to show how unrefined the 4 cylinder ICE is. I have also got a BMW V12 which is much better but still not as good as the leaf. Will Teslas ever be affordable to us mere mortals?

38- 44mpg not much good I would say

The Tesla is less quiet than the Leaf. In fact I was quite disappointed in it.
