This is a guide from EVTV showing whats involved, on the cable end its basically two resistors and a diode. These give two different responses in resistance terms when the pilot signal is sent from the charge point.

Not rocket science.

Well, my car is still poodling along nicely - just passed the 18000 mile mark. Did a long single trip the other day with no charging - 46 miles and we just hit the 25% left mark as we pulled in back home.

The car has going well and I sit enjoy using it. I live near whitely and they re opened a few months ago and they have had charging posts fitted in the car parks, so they now get my customer alot more as I like to go there and plug in. The other advantage is that it is a busy place now, and the electric charging spots are never ice'd - well never in all the times I have gone there.

Mileage 18032
