watering kit adapter

Try Evan Tuer, he has some stock. I tried buying from the UK suppliers and they wanted about £25 to £30 each they have a minimum charge / transaction as well as a high unit cost.

If you get stuck without one, just unscrew one filler point , lift out the spring and small grey pin thingy and push on a bit of silicon tube. Take this to your refil bottle and bobs yer mothers brother.
You can simply move along all of the filling connectors one at a time unscrewing number two and putting it on number one whilst using the one you have removed the spring etc from as you pass up the line.

PS how much are the proper ones, so far I havent bothered - but if sensible.....£

The point of the non return valve is to keep the water in the circuit and not let it drain out. This has the effect of reducing the air supply which will also mean the batteries only vent one way, out through the exit and ensures both air inlet and dirt is minimised. Reducing fresh air supply does mean when a cell blows a minimum of air is present to aid the explosion. The only connection to the outside world tends to get blocked from a fresh air point of view as the pressure wave goes along the drain circuit. The internal valve may also do this but its worth taking care.
You can buy these connectors from the manufacturers, who have a minimum order charge of about £10 and a part cost of about £15, if bought singly.

I didnt mean for people to leave out the spring and valve pin, my comments were just as an aid to watering if you do not have the special connector to hand.

It might be worth getting a five or ten off price form the makers. I will approach them on that basis and let you know the response.
I got mine from Evan when I got my Ev Lite.
