I use a flat concrete surface, two trolley jacks 1tonne (One uner each rear swinging arm, or for the front under the subframe exiting under the doors) and a pallet truck. TAke off the set of wheels concerned, and the trolley jacks will be able to lower enough to meet the trolley jack, then once box disconnected, will be enough to lift and clear the battery box. I do have pics of this if interested.
One man job and quite safe and no straining of anything.
