Amps

Postby johnandpam » Sun Aug 13, 2006 7:30 pm

Hi Blingo users. The state of charge meter in the Blingo I've found brilliant. the ammeter is a bit poor though. I was wondering if anyone has tested what the coloured bands equate to i.e. what current is drawn at the green to yellow and yellow to red and full scale deflection. Cheers all - John.

Hi john ,

Sorry didnt spot your post due to me playing behind the scenes.

You'll find the state of charge indicator only as good as the batts , mine with duff batts is pretty poor to be honest , with the van giving up the ghost still with 50% showing .....if I'm lucky !!!!

As for the amp meter it appears anything in the green is under 100A yellow starts at around 100A-125A and red .....well I've never pushed her that hard for fear of killing whats left of the batts

That sort of gives you an idea
