Cutaway drawings

Postby timpootle » Tue Mar 04, 2008 8:21 pm

I have found this French webpage, which has cutaway drawings of the Berlingo and its motor and parking pawl, among other things. Beware pop-ups; that's lycos for you.

The pictures have Citroen GB on them, but the labels are in French.

Fascinating pictures. The driveshaft actually goes through the motor. Maybe you knew that, but it was a revelation to me.

Poke around the website for pictures of other Citroen electriques. It's all very interesting.

They have a forum - a bit like ours at http://vehiculeselectriques.free.fr/Forum/portal.php
But you need to be a French speaker or be able to find intersing bits and translate with one of the on-line translation services like Babelfish.

Get Firefox if you don't already have it,
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

and install gTranslate
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/918

Once installed you select the the text to translate, right-click, and it provides the translation.

I'm using ubuntu and it seems to work well.

I find it the quickest way to follow a thread in a foreign language. As with all automated translations you'll have to use a bit of guess work to fill in the mistakes.
